  • merits review appeals to specialist migration tribunals (Migration Review Tribunal, Refugee Review Tribunal and Administrative Appeals Tribunal);
  • appeals to the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection on compassionate grounds; and
  • appeals to Australian courts (Federal Circuit Court of Australia, Federal Court of Australia and the High Court of Australia).
