About Donald Chen
Donald is a dedicated and compassionate lawyer with over 15 years of experience within the field of immigration law.
After finishing a Bachelor of Arts in Government and International Relations and Linguistics at The University of Sydney, Donald completed a Juris Doctor at the University of Technology in 2009, and was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. He has worked in immigration law ever since, including as a volunteer solicitor and migration agent with Salvos Legal Humanitarian for over five years.
Donald joined Kinslor Prince Lawyers in 2017. He has assisted clients in a wide range of immigration matters, including family migration, Student Visas, and Ministerial Intervention requests. He assists clients both before the Department of Home Affairs and on review before the Administrative Review Tribunal. Donald is highly experienced in employer sponsored and skilled migration pathways, successfully assisting employers and skilled migrants to navigate the many regulatory changes in this area, and assist clients with difficult cases, including complex labour agreements and the employer sanction regime under the Migration Act 1958.
In his spare time, Donald likes to spend time with his young family and exploring the world.
