About Christopher Shen
Christopher completed a Bachelor of Arts/Law from the University in New South Wales and was admitted as a solicitor on 19 July 2024. He is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
Christopher has been with Kinslor Prince Lawyers since 2022 as a Paralegal. He commenced work as a solicitor in 2024. Christopher has experience with Ministerial Intervention requests for the Minister for Home Affairs to exercise their public interest powers, notices issued by the Office of the Migration Agent Authority (OMARA), Partner Visas, applications for Australian citizenship, health waiver requests and a range of complex temporary visa matters.
Christopher was inspired to pursue a career in immigration law by memories from his childhood seeing news reports of asylum seekers arriving by boat to Australia. At university, Christopher placed first in his class in the immigration law elective course.
In his spare time, Christopher enjoys supporting the Parramatta Eels, watching films, cricket, hiking and world travel, including to destinations such as Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia.
