Court cases

We take cases to court when the matter is contentious or there has been a problem with the decision-making process. We act for clients in the High Court of Australia, the Federal Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia.

Sometimes the Australian Government will recognise an error was made and settle the case before a hearing is held. Often a court case will result in a judgement from the court after a hearing. These judgements are published and you can read about how we have helped clients to find a second chance through judicial review.

Merits review

We assist clients before the Administrative Review Tribunal where their case can be reconsidered afresh with new evidence. The Tribunal publishes some of its migration decisions which means that we can share some of our work at the Tribunal.
